TCWEP began in 2009 when small business owners (Michelle Tverberg, Delight Photography; Matthew Sherry, Complete Weddings + Events; and Elizabeth Sherry) were seeing the effects of the last recession, and decided to do something about it! They gathered a few industry pros together for face-to-face networking. The concept of creating a collaborative organization (TCWEP) was born. It’s a place where they could meet new people, showcase local venues and catering, and receive education from industry partners would enrich the event industry both collectively and individually.

TCWEP has now grown to a database of over 2,096 professionals who support the event industry in the greater Twin Cities and surrounding areas in eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
