What a way to start the new year January 2024, with our Venue Tour + Vendor Meetup held on the 50th floor Windows at Marquette in downtown Minneapolis.

We were so high up in the sky today one of the tallest skyscrapers in Minneapolis, the IDS building. So high up in fact that during the elevator ride, our ears popped. Totally worth it for the sweeping views. You can seriously see for miles and miles out into the suburbs from being this high up.

Along with a live pianist adding ambiance to the room — the Marquette served us a wonderful spread for lunch that included: toasted bagels slathered with cream cheese, capers and smoked salmon. Lots of fresh fruits, cantaloupe, melons, honeydew, melon, strawberries. And with the brunch theme there was wonderful toasted hashbrowns, and yummy quiche. Of course the event included lots of networking with fellow wedding, vendors, and event professionals here in the Twin Cities.

Event Sponsors included decor on the tables by Dana Allison, Keyed Up Events; Emcee for the networking event was Matt Sherry, Complete Weddings + Events Minnesota; Michelle Tverberg, Michelle Tverberg Realtor; photographer at the event was Adrian Steinbach, Adrian Steinbach Photography; Pianist Pianist for Parties, Sharon Planer; volunteer greeter was Jessica Knighton; Venue & Catering was Leni Bohme of Windows at Marquette
